Community Working Principles

General Issues

  • 1. All kinds of animations, graphics, texts, videos, sound recordings, software and other digital content ("works") produced as a result of community activities are considered as works created with the joint participation of community members.

  • 3. The intellectual property rights of the works belong to Muş Alparslan University Epsilon Animation Community unless otherwise stated.

Right Ownership

  • 1. The works may be used in promotions and events suitable for the purpose of the community. During these uses, the names of the creators of the works are stated.
  • 2. The community must obtain the approval of the university and the authors for the commercial use of the works.
  • 3. Individuals who make significant contributions to the activities may be defined as the authors as a result of the evaluation of the Board of Directors. However, the authors are obliged to adhere to the purposes, rules and working principles determined by the community.
  • 4. Individuals are free to use the works in their academic or personal portfolios, but community permission is required for commercial use.

Publishing Policies

  • 1. The community publishes the animations created as a result of the activities on a YouTube page established with the community e-mail address.
  • 2. The management of the YouTube page is carried out by the Academic Advisor.
  • 3. Advertising and other revenues obtained from the YouTube page are accumulated in an account opened in the name of the community.
  • 4. Revenues can only be used in community activities and usage is subject to the approval of the Academic Advisor.
  • 5. Content uploaded to the YouTube page must comply with the community rules and university guidelines.
  • 6. All copyrights, usage permissions and license information of the shared content must be fully specified.

Code Uploading and Sharing Policies

  • 1. Python codes created as a result of community activities are stored in a GitHub account established with the community e-mail address.
  • 2. The management of the GitHub account is carried out by the Academic Advisor.
  • 3. Codes are organized by project names and a README file is added for each project.
  • 4. Copyright and license rights of all codes uploaded to the GitHub account are determined in accordance with the interests of the community and the university.
  • 5. Codes can be shared with other communities that cooperate with the university, but this sharing is subject to the approval of the Community Management Board and Academic Advisor.
