Program Teaching Objectives (Fedek Definition): General expressions that define the career goals and professional expectations that program graduates are expected to achieve in the near future.

In this context, our department's Program Teaching Objectives have been determined as follows:

PÖA-1: Providing quality education that aims to raise individuals with developed cultural knowledge and communication skills, advanced research and problem-solving skills, who can lead their environment, who are patriotic and loyal to their country.

PÖA-2: Creating a mathematical infrastructure that will contribute to social, cultural, economic, scientific and technological development at national and international levels through research, and applying and disseminating the information produced.

PÖA-3: Enabling students to grow up as individuals who enjoy mathematics by using various methods that encourage their active participation in the learning and teaching processes.

PÖA-4: The main purpose of undergraduate education is to provide ideal conditions for acquiring knowledge in various branches of mathematics, analytical thinking and practical skills.

PÖA-5: To raise individuals who have basic mathematical knowledge, methods and skills in subjects requiring expertise, in line with academic or other career goals; who can produce clear, logical and rational solutions to the problems they encounter; who are pleased to achieve mathematical successes and who have the desire to advance in their careers.

As a result of achieving these educational goals, students who successfully complete their undergraduate education receive the title of "Mathematician". Our program graduates can continue their master's and doctoral programs by successfully passing interviews and science exams when they receive sufficient scores from the ALES exam and provide foreign language proficiency for doctoral programs. Our graduates who have received pedagogical formation and received sufficient scores from the KPSS educational sciences exam may have the opportunity to work as Mathematics Teachers within the Ministry of National Education. In addition, thanks to their universal knowledge and their ability to apply this knowledge in various fields, our graduates have wide job opportunities in the public and private sectors; they can find jobs in areas such as academic studies, information systems, the banking and finance sector, the service sector and educational companies.
